Awards and Recognition

AAARAD established a formal recognition award program for eligible AAARAD members that highlight their contributions to the field of academic radiology practice management. AAARAD and SCARD members are encouraged to nominate administrators for one of several annual awards as contained in the following AAARAD Awards and Recognition Criteria document. To nominate an individual, click on the “AAARAD Awards and Recognition Nomination Form” link below and follow the instructions.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Category 1:
Outstanding Service to AAARAD or SCARD. Demonstrated excellence in leadership or service by promoting AAARAD/SCARD.

Category 2:
Excellence in Leadership in the Field of Radiology Administration by providing outstanding leadership and strategic thinking to achieve exceptional team performance in the field of radiology practice management.

Category 3:
Advancement of the Radiology Profession through excellence in published papers, presentations or liaison work with other professional radiology groups.

Category 4:
Lifetime Achievement Award given to individuals with longevity in the field and who have made significant contributions to AAARAD, SCARD and the field of academic radiology.

Category 5:
Outstanding Community Service award recognizes a member who has demonstrated outstanding community service beyond the scope of his or her job or area of professional training.
